Tips on how to Test Continuity With an Actron Multi-Tester 1Plug the leads into the tester. The red ideal tester plugs in to the hole labeled "VΩmA." The black right tester plugs into the hole labeled "Com Auto diagnostic tools."
2Disconnect the power source of the circuit to be tested for continuity.3Turn the selector switch in the center of your Actron Mulititester and align the dot on the switch with the "200" in the green "Ω" section.4Press and hold the red lead to the positive side of the circuit to be tested for continuity and the black lead to the negative side of the circuit.
5View the multitester's LED display for an ohm reading. If the ohm measurement is low, then your circuit has good continuity automotive diagnostic tool. If the measurement is high, then your circuit has low continuity.
